Aharon Halliwell took responsibility for the failure of information

Aharon Haliva has taken responsibility for the intelligence failure.

Aharon Haliva, the commander of the Israeli army’s intelligence, has taken responsibility for the intelligence failure in the October 7th attack by Hamas in letters addressed to the soldiers.

In this letter, he wrote that the military intelligence did not provide a warning about the attack carried out by Hamas under my command.

He has taken full responsibility for this failure and stated that a deep and comprehensive investigation will be conducted. However, he mentioned that currently, the sole duty of the Israeli army is to confront and achieve victory.

The content of this letter has been published in Israeli media and has also been confirmed by Reuters news agency.
