Representative of Workers in the Supreme Labor Council: Workers are fed with bread, not interviews and numbers

Representative of the workers in the Supreme Labor Council says that the workers’ table is filled with bread, not interviews, numbers, and statistics.

Ali Khodayi, the spokesperson and representative of the workers in the current government’s Supreme Labor Council, responds to the request of the representatives of the labor community, saying that according to the labor law, wage increase is once a year.

In addition to the fact that this interpretation of the law by the government is incorrect, the prefix of this response is that if the salaries of government employees increase, we will also increase the wages of workers. The question of the representatives of the labor community from the government is, if the legislator does not allow the government to increase the worker’s wages more than once a year, how does the government promise, contrary to the law, that if the employee’s salary increases, the worker’s wage will also increase?

The Minister of Labor has repeatedly spoken about his promises in the past 7 months. Is the country supposed to be managed by promises? Let’s not forget that ultimately, the workers’ table is filled with bread, not with interviews, numbers, and statistics.
