Iran executed 4 individuals on charges of spying for Israel

Iran executed four individuals on charges of espionage for Israel.

Iran’s judiciary announced on Friday, December 29th, that it has executed four individuals named Vafa Hanareh, Aram Omri, Rahman Parhazou, and Nasim Namazi in Urmia prison on charges of waging war against God and corruption on earth through collaboration with Israel.

The news agency of the Iranian judiciary referred to these individuals as members of a ten-person team led by Mossad officers who had engaged in extensive activities against the country’s security.

The alleged charges against these individuals include identifying and targeting Iranian security forces and attempting to extract information from them through abduction, threats, and physical violence.

Human rights organizations had previously criticized the issuance of death sentences for these individuals without proper due process.

Last night, a video circulated on social media showing the families of these individuals gathering in front of Urmia prison in an attempt to prevent their execution.
