According to Etemad newspaper, only $10 billion of the National Development Fund’s resources remain.
Etemad wrote that, as recently announced by the Parliamentary Research Center, the 13th government has not only failed to settle its approximately 25 trillion tomans debt to the National Development Fund for the year 1401, but it is expected that by issuing a license to withdraw 20% of the fund’s resources in 1402, an additional amount of about 170 trillion tomans will be added. Therefore, it is predicted that the government’s debt to the National Development Fund will reach 195 trillion tomans by the end of this year.
This newspaper states that the National Development Fund is a $150 billion fund, of which about $100 billion has been withdrawn by various governments, and about $40 billion has been paid in facilities. Therefore, only $10 billion of the resources remain in this fund.
