The United States is building a military base on the border of Iran and Azerbaijan.
John Warne, an American political science expert, says the main goal in the South Caucasus is the collapse of Russia and Iran. It is assumed that the military base will be located in Lankaran, south of Baku and near the border with Iran.
Warne points out that the tension between Azerbaijan and the United States is due to the differences between the Netanyahu and Biden teams, and Baku has no particular disagreement with the United States.
The Netanyahu government manages the tension between the Azerbaijani government and the United States for its own purposes and prioritizes Washington’s goals to cover Israel’s needs.
