The sea water transfer project is progressing relatively well. In the past year, the project has made more than 12% progress. A significant portion of the project for transferring water from the eastern aquifer has been implemented, and soon water will reach Zahedan.
The water supply project for the Sistan region, which involves drilling 120 wells, is currently underway. In other words, the world’s largest desalination project is being implemented to combat drought.
