Rakei, an active reformist, said our goal was to get people to the ballot box, but it didn’t happen.

Fatemeh Rakei, a reformist political activist, stated that the important issue is not the statement of the Reformist Front or the 110 reformist statement; rather, our main concern is the people. What should we do to make people hopeful about improving the country’s conditions? How can we regain people’s trust so that they vote again and reduce the class gap?

She further stated that our foundation is the constitution and the people’s vote. If we act based on this foundation, great things can be accomplished in the country.

We couldn’t convince prominent figures to participate in the elections, and other individuals were not approved for their qualifications. The Reformist Front has announced that, unfortunately, due to the Guardian Council’s actions in Tehran, it has been unable to provide a list. The ballot box is of great importance, and our effort has been to get people to vote despite all the difficulties. However, we couldn’t provide a list for the elections. The Reformist Front’s statement mentions that we don’t have a list in Tehran, but we are not seeking sanctions or non-participation.

He stated that the important issue is not the statement of the reformist front or the statement of 110 reformists, but rather the main issue is the people. What should we do to make the people hopeful about improving the country’s conditions? With what trust should people come to the ballot box again so that the class gap narrows? Will the government, the Ministry of Interior, and the Guardian Council be able to convince the people to participate in the elections?
