Azarpik Convicted of Spreading Lies, Slander, and Threats

Azarpik was convicted of spreading lies, slander, and threats.

Saba Azarpik was sentenced to imprisonment and banned from online activities.

Saba Azarpik was sentenced to three years of imprisonment, two years of prohibition from social media activities, and also fined for spreading lies, slander, defamation, and threats.

According to the court’s ruling, if Azarpik repeats criminal behaviors, one-third more imprisonment will be added to the sentence.

It is worth mentioning that the complainants in these cases were Alireza Razm Hosseini, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hassan Rouhani’s Minister of Industry, Zohreh Shekhi, a representative of the eleventh parliament, and Seyyed Mohsen Dehnavi, a member of the presiding board of the eleventh parliament. They had recently filed complaints against Azarpik due to the allegations, and the court, after examining the documents and allegations, found him guilty.
