South Korea government threatened striking doctors
The South Korean government threatened striking doctors to return to work by Friday or face consequences.
With ongoing protests and strikes by doctors in South Korea, the government of the country has warned that doctors and interns who do not return to work by the end of this month will face consequences.
With the government’s plan to increase the number of medical students in South Korea, about two-thirds of doctors and interns in this field have refrained from going to their workplaces as a sign of protest and have also held a series of demonstrations on the streets.
