The head of the civil registry does not stamp the birth certificate applicants

The head of the Civil Registration Office does not stamp the voting certificate.

The head of the Civil Registration Organization mentioned the new election law, stating that the voting certificate of voters is not stamped with the election seal. However, the voting history of the voter is recorded in the organization’s identity database. Additionally, for the convenience of the people, all civil registration offices in the country are operational on the election day, February 29.

He emphasized that the verification of voters’ identities during the elections is done quickly, and their authenticity is confirmed so that voters can easily and confidently participate in the elections.

The head of the Civil Registration Organization explained the use of other identity documents required for participating in the elections. He mentioned that in the new election law, in addition to the birth certificate and national ID card, some other identity documents such as a driver’s license are also accepted. However, individuals who present documents other than the national ID card and birth certificate at the polling station will also undergo identity verification like others before being able to vote.
