Ali Dayi, I wish we could become record holders in humanity.
Ali Dayi is a legend who rarely gives interviews, appears in the media, and prefers to be among people in public places, responding positively to their requests for souvenir photos and engaging in friendly and direct conversations with them.
Ali Dayi once said, ‘When I stepped onto the field, my only thought was to help my national team succeed and to bring joy to the hearts of my country’s people with my goals. I never thought about setting records or breaking them in my football career. One day, you break the record of another legendary figure, and the next day, someone surpasses your record. These records, such as being the world’s top goal scorer or the top scorer in continental tournaments, do not add anything to me. What matters is to be a record holder in humanity, which lasts.’
The migration of elites is not limited to sports. Our elite doctors and engineers are also active outside Iran.
Currently, we lack specialized and experienced workforce in various sectors of the country.
Our sports infrastructure is in a disastrous state and has remained at the level of several decades ago.
The floods in Sistan are also a product of this lack of infrastructure.
