Mohammad Taghi Akbarnejad has been under pressure for forced confessions.
Mohammad Taghi Akbarnejad, a professor at Qom Seminary, who has been detained by the intelligence forces of the Revolutionary Guards, has spoken about his conditions in detention in a phone call from Qom prison.
Mr. Akbarnejad says that after 14 days in solitary confinement, he was transferred to security detention centers and has been pressured to give forced confessions.
According to Mr. Akbarnejad, security forces have put significant pressure on needy families in society to make them file complaints against him, claiming that he had conversations with them as a representative of the leadership and misled them.
Mohammad Taghi Akbarnejad, a professor at Qom Seminary and a critic of the policies of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, was detained by the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence agents on February 17th and taken to an undisclosed location.
This seminary professor, who has a history of legal encounters, criticized the policies of the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic on social networks, including Instagram.
