Netanyahu: Despite international pressures, we will continue the war

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that the country’s army attacks against Hamas will continue despite international criticisms and pressures.

According to Reuters, Netanyahu stated on Friday, March 7 in Tel Aviv that international pressures are increasing, but especially in these circumstances of international pressure, we must unite our ranks, stand together, and continue the war to the end.

The Israeli Prime Minister further announced the continuation of the army’s operations in the entire Gaza Strip and added that these operations will also expand to Rafah, Hamas’s last stronghold.

Netanyahu stated that those who want Israel not to carry out operations in Rafah are seeking the country’s defeat, and this is something that will not happen.

Netanyahu’s statements seem to be related to the intensive efforts by the US, Egypt, and Qatar to reach an agreement on the Gaza Strip’s issues by the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
