Iran, China, and Russia Naval Exercise

During the naval exercise of Iran, China, and Russia in the Sea of Oman today, they practiced the operation of freeing a hijacked ship.

According to ISNA and quoting the spokesperson for the Maritime Security Belt 2024 exercise, special operations forces of the army and the IRGC, in cooperation with the special operations forces of China and Russia, descended onto the deck of the hijacked vessel from the air and carried out the operation to free the ship.

The joint naval exercise titled Maritime Security Belt 2024 has been conducted by Iran, Russia, and China in the waters of the Sea of Oman and the shores of Chabahar since Tuesday. This naval exercise will continue until Friday.

According to IRNA, representatives from Oman, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and South Africa are also present.

It has been reported that footage of this exercise has been broadcast on Chinese television.

Iran is increasingly developing its relations and closeness with Russia and China. Previously, several joint naval exercises had been conducted by these three countries.
