The results of the election survey in the United States show that Donald Trump is 2% behind Biden.
One day after the confirmation of Trump and Biden’s candidacy in the presidential elections, it has been reported that the former president is leading by a 2% margin over the current president, according to a national survey conducted by the US Today newspaper and Sufok University in America. Trump has garnered 40% of the votes in this survey, while Biden’s share was 38%.
In this survey, Biden’s popularity and positive opinions about the US economy under his presidency have increased. 25% stated that they may change their mind about who to vote for by the election day of November 3. 29% of the survey participants said that inflation and the economy are their main concerns, with immigration at 24% and threats against democracy at 23% being the next important issues. 10% also declared that abortion is their most important issue.
A nationwide survey by the US Today newspaper and Sofok University from March 8th to 11th, covering 1000 registered voters for the presidential election, shows a close competition between Trump and Biden. On average, national surveys indicate that Trump has a 14% lead.
