15 restaurants in Dezful were sealed by the police for operating during Ramadan

Police in Dezful sealed 15 restaurants for operating during the month of Ramadan.

The police commander of Dezful county in Khuzestan announced the sealing of 15 food outlets and restaurants due to violations during Ramadan.

Rouhollah Yarizadeh stated that authorities, in coordination with the judiciary, sealed 15 food outlets and restaurants for not complying with the laws related to operating businesses during Ramadan.

He also mentioned that authorities issued verbal warnings to 135 business establishments and obtained written commitments from 80 other violators.

Three days ago, it was reported that five business establishments in Zabol county in Sistan and Baluchestan were sealed for not adhering to Ramadan regulations.

This comes as pressure from the Iranian government on businesses has increased simultaneously with the start of Ramadan and on the eve of the new year.

Mohammad Arghavan, the head of the Merchants’ Chamber in Hamedan, stated that businesses that do not respect the sanctity of the blessed month of Ramadan will be sealed until the end of Ramadan.
