A 4,200 square meter garden in Ozgol was sold at 150 times below its market price.
Documents released regarding the transfer of ownership of a 4,200 square meter garden next to Imam Khomeini Seminary to an institution with shares held by Kazem Seddiqi, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran, and his sons, show that this property was sold at 150 times below its market price.
Yashar Soltani, the former editor-in-chief of Memari News, published documents on the evening of Sunday, March 25th, showing the transfer of this land located in the Ozgol neighborhood of northern Tehran. He wrote that while the approximate market value of this property is one trillion tomans, the sale price mentioned in the document is only six billion and six hundred million tomans.
The amount of 66 billion tomans is mentioned as the transaction price in this document, while in the current Tehran market, this amount is not even enough to purchase a small apartment in this area.
According to the published documents, this amount was paid in cash by Javad Azizi and Mohammad Mehdi Seddiqi, the son of Kazem Seddiqi, to the seller, who is Kazem Seddiqi himself.
This is while the mentioned amount, at its minimum volume, includes 66,400 pieces of 100,000 toman banknotes, making its cash delivery impossible.
