Ministry of Cultural Heritage: Sa'dabad and Golestan Palaces Were the Most Visited Historical Sites in Tehran During Nowruz

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage stated that the Sa’dabad and Golestan palaces were the most visited historical sites in Tehran during Nowruz.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage of Iran has said that the Sa’dabad and Golestan palaces were the most visited historical sites in Tehran during the early days of this year.

According to this ministry, in just the first four days of Farvardin, the Sa’dabad Palace had over 55,000 visitors, the Golestan Palace had over 36,000 visitors, and the Niavaran Palace had over 29,000 visitors.

This ministry also announced that the National Museum of Iran, the Museum of Pottery and Ceramics, the Carpet Museum, and some other museums in Tehran were among the other popular historical sites visited during Nowruz.

This ministry had previously stated that the provinces of Fars, Isfahan, Tehran, Khuzestan, and Razavi Khorasan have so far accounted for the highest number of visits to historical sites, with the Hafezieh complex, Persepolis, and Sa’dabad being the most visited historical places.
