Syrian Army Announces Several Soldiers and Civilians Killed in Israeli Airstrike on Aleppo Regions

The Syrian army announced that in an Israeli airstrike on areas in Aleppo, a number of soldiers and civilians were killed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition group to Bashar al-Assad’s government that monitors Syrian developments from the UK, announced that in the early morning attack on Friday, March 30, by Israel on Aleppo, 42 Syrian soldiers were killed and dozens were injured.

The report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which has been published by many news agencies including the Associated Press, cannot be independently verified.

This opposition entity to Bashar al-Assad’s government, which operates in the UK, says that in the early morning attack on Friday, weapons depots in the southern outskirts of Aleppo in Jibrin near Aleppo International Airport were targeted.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights added that two hours after the attack, the sounds of explosions could still be heard.
