The European Union has lifted sanctions on the cloud company Arvan.
The European Union has removed the technology cloud company Arvan from the list of human rights sanctions against individuals and entities affiliated with the Islamic Republic, which was added less than 17 months ago.
According to what was published in the official journal of the European Union on Friday, this decision was made a day earlier, and this company has been removed from the EU sanctions list.
Arvan Cloud was one of the companies that, in late Azar 1401, was placed on the EU sanctions list along with Basij Cooperation Foundation and Press TV for its role in internet restrictions, aiding in suppressing protests, and violating human rights in Iran.
In late Azar 98, following street protests in dozens of cities in Iran due to a sudden increase in gasoline prices, access to the global internet network was only about five percent for at least five days.
The Islamic Republic, with the support of companies like Arvan Cloud, was able to provide conditions for complete disconnection of the Iranian people from the internet during the protests of Azar 98.
