Women's Premier Football League Concludes Again with Khatun Bam's Championship

The Women’s Premier Football League concluded once again with Khatoon Bam’s championship victory.

This undefeated team dominated the competition, with Marzieh Jafari’s students managing to claim the cup for the tenth time.

In their final match, the Bam team was hosted by Isatis and, in a superior display, defeated the Shiraz team with a score of 6-1. Zahra Ghanbari was the star of this match, scoring four goals.

The champions of Iran’s Women’s Football League are mourning the loss of their star, Melika Mohammadi. On the morning of December 24th, the vehicle carrying three Khatoon national players met with an accident at the entrance to Bam. Melika passed away, while Behnaz Taherkhani and Zahra Khajavi also suffered severe injuries.

Malavan Bandar Anzali, Khatoon’s toughest competitor, managed to defeat Avaye Tehran 2-0 to secure the second place, while Shahrdari Sirjan stood in third position.
