Iran’s representative at the United Nations condemned Israel in the Security Council for hindering countermeasures.
Iran’s representative at the United Nations on April 11 tweeted that if the Security Council condemned Israel’s attack on Iran’s consulate in Damascus and dealt with its perpetrators, the necessity of punishing Israel for Iran might be eliminated.
As a result of an airstrike on the building of Iran’s consulate in Damascus on April 2, at least seven people were killed. Iranian authorities attribute this attack to Israel.
The leader of the Islamic Republic threatened Israel yesterday, saying his country would punish it. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indirectly addressed Iran, saying his country is ready to face any attacks.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz also warned the leader of the Islamic Republic on the social network X that if Iran attacks Israel, Israel will retaliate against Iran.
