Turkish President on Iran-Israel Tension: It's Impossible to Say Which Side is Telling the Truth

The President of Turkey stated that in the Iran-Israel tension, it cannot be said which side is telling the truth.

Regarding the attack attributed to Israel, Erdoğan said it is unclear who did what.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, after Friday prayers in Istanbul, responded to reporters’ questions about the Iran-Israel tension, saying that currently, Israel has different statements and Iran also presents different viewpoints.

He said it is unclear who did what and in fact, there is no reasonable explanation about the matter.

He further stated that it cannot be said which side is telling the truth.

Mr. Erdoğan also criticized the veto of Palestine’s full membership in the United Nations and said we witnessed that the United States stood by Israel in its recent statements at the UN Security Council.
