The President of Poland is ready to accept and deploy NATO’s nuclear weapons.
Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, announced on Tuesday, April 13th, that his country is ready to accept and deploy NATO’s nuclear weapons following Russia’s actions to strengthen nuclear arsenals in Belarus and Kaliningrad.
Duda stated that if our allies decide to deploy nuclear weapons as part of a joint program to strengthen the eastern flank, we are ready.
Following Duda’s statements, Russia warned on Tuesday that if Poland hosts nuclear weapons, necessary measures will be taken to ensure security. Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin’s spokesperson, mentioned that the military is analyzing the situation and will take all necessary reciprocal actions to ensure our security.
