Rezai, Member of Parliament: Transferring Esteghlal's Shares to the Persian Gulf Holding is Illegal

Rezai, a member of parliament, says transferring Esteghlal’s shares to the Persian Gulf Holding is illegal

Ebrahim Rezai, in today’s public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on Monday, May 3rd, criticized the transfer of Esteghlal team shares to the Persian Gulf Holding. He stated that most of this holding’s activities and presence are in Bushehr province, and it is unjust that while the costs and environmental problems affect the people of the province, the money and profit go to others, which is a clear injustice.

He continued, in a situation where the schools and hospitals in Bushehr province don’t have air conditioning in the summer heat and our sports clubs lack basic facilities, the capital of the Persian Gulf Holding, which belongs to retirees, should not be taken from our people’s pockets and spent on a group of extravagant celebrities.

The representative of Dashtestan in the eleventh parliament added, we request the president and the relevant authorities to stop this action because it is completely illegal.
