An illegal action against online businesses
Kambiz Norouzi, a legal expert, states that individuals who start a business with legal services and goods have no legal prohibition against their activities. As a result, business owners have the right to continue their activities, especially if these businesses are operated online. Any obstruction in the operation of these businesses, such as through filtering, is a violation of their rights. This is particularly true because filtering is illegal in the Iranian legal system, and all actions taken so far for filtering have been illegal, as there is no law that permits filtering.
Allowing some people unlimited access to the internet without filtering while the majority are deprived of this fundamental right is an unjust discrimination. We have many such discriminations, and it is a form of privilege given to some due to their proximity to power, which the majority of people are deprived of. Unjust discrimination is always illegitimate.
