France Denied Entry to a British-Palestinian Doctor Invited to Speak at the Senate

France denied entry to a British-Palestinian doctor who was invited to speak in the Senate.

A British-Palestinian doctor who volunteered in hospitals in Gaza claimed that he was prevented from entering France to speak about the war between Israel and Hamas at a French Senate session. Officials did not want to state the reason for this decision.

According to Raymond Ponce Monge, a French senator who invited this doctor to deliver a speech in the Senate, Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sitta was deported and sent back to his country after waiting for some time at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The senator wrote on his X account that this is a disgrace.

Germany also refused his entry to the country last month. Dr. Abu-Sitta announced in a social media post that he was prevented from entering France due to a one-year ban imposed by Germany on his entry into the European Union.
