Displaying liked posts by users on platform X will be discontinued.

Social network X has officially confirmed that it intends to stop displaying posts liked by users on their personal page soon.

Haofei Wang, the manager of the engineering department at X, in response to a user who had mentioned this issue, said, ‘Yes, we will make likes private. Publicly displaying likes can lead to inappropriate behavior. For example, many people may refrain from liking content that may be provocative out of fear of trolls or protecting their public image.’

He goes on to explain that soon you will be able to like posts without worrying about who might see it. He also reminds that the more posts you like, the better the For You algorithm will show you.

In fact, with this change, you will no longer be able to view posts liked by other people, which means the removal of the Liked tab from public profiles.
