Importing mobile phones with the Apple brand is prohibited by Iranian customs.

The Import Office of Iranian Customs announced through circulars referencing the prohibition of Apple brand imports a 96% tariff in case the ban is lifted.

Alireza Sadri Khah, the Director General of the Import Office of Customs, announced through circulars to executive customs offices regarding the import of mobile phones that the import of smart mobile phones with the Apple brand is prohibited. If the ban is lifted by the relevant authorities, a 96% commercial profit will be determined.
