He continued, saying this group should be aware that if they do not reconsider their consumption habits, they will certainly face million-toman bills in the summer. This is because, according to Article 6 of the Law on Removing Obstacles to the Development of the Electricity Industry, allocating subsidies for consumption above the pattern is prohibited. The electricity tariff for residential customers who consume more than the approved pattern is calculated and charged based on the following: consumption up to the pattern, excess consumption up to 15 times the pattern, up to 25 times the pattern, and consumption more than 25 times the pattern are calculated and charged with coefficients of 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, and 5 times the cost of electricity supply, respectively.
