The spokesperson of the Guardian Council advises against speculating about the review of qualifications on social media.
Tahan Nazif, the spokesperson of the Guardian Council, stated that the first meeting to review qualifications was held yesterday morning. We also had a meeting yesterday afternoon, and intensive multi-session meetings are being held to ensure the reviews are conducted accurately and swiftly. The campaign period will begin after the results of the qualifications review are announced.
He further requested that media and social media activists refrain from speculating about the qualifications review, emphasizing that the review process has just started and is a detailed, precise, and time-consuming process. Speculation is generally not appropriate, but currently, it is even too early for speculation.
Tahan Nazif, noting that the qualifications review process is lengthy but will be conducted accurately, stated that the law allows 5 days for the Guardian Council to review qualifications, with the possibility of extending it for another 5 days. Naturally, we will use the initial 5 days, and part of the second 5-day period may be used if necessary.
