Iran's Foreign Ministry Statement: We Condemn the Board of Governors' Resolution Against Iran

The Iranian Foreign Ministry statement condemns the Board of Governors’ resolution against Iran.

The Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic has issued a statement strongly condemning yesterday’s resolution by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has described this resolution as a political and non-constructive action, considering it a continuation of the previous failed policies of some Western countries and an attempt to politically exploit international mechanisms against independent countries.

Yesterday, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, on the third day of its seasonal meeting, voted in favor of the resolution proposed by the United Kingdom, France, and Germany regarding Iran’s nuclear dossier.

Tehran has also announced that the issuance of this resolution will have no impact on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s determination to continue the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to implement its nuclear development plans in accordance with the country’s rights under relevant international treaties.
