Interior Minister: Voting May Be Conducted Electronically in Some Cities

The Minister of Interior said that voting in some cities might be conducted electronically.

Vahidi, the Minister of Interior, stated that they are aiming for voting in some major cities to be conducted electronically, pending approval from the Guardian Council.

He mentioned to reporters that they are waiting for the Guardian Council’s announcement on the approval of qualifications so that the candidates’ campaigns can begin.

The Minister of Interior said that the identity verification for the fourteenth round of presidential elections was conducted electronically.
