Mohsen Hashemi’s Criticism of the Reform Front: Don’t Set the Ground for Defeat
Mohsen Hashemi Rafsanjani, the head of the Central Council of the Executives of Construction Party of Iran, wrote in the Sazandegi newspaper that regarding the Reform Front, it seems that they have not succeeded in the initial organization at the time of candidate registration up to now. According to reports from the Reform Front, they have not even been able to implement their internal resolutions, including the strategy of conditional participation before registration, which has currently shifted to conditional participation after registration and before approval. It seems that ultimately it will lead to conditional participation after the approval of qualifications.
The Reform Front should note that it does not enter the electoral competition to perform a duty and give a positive signal to the government but rather to achieve political victory and executive power. Therefore, to reach electoral victory, all tools should be used at every stage, and by creating specific artificial limitations, as witnessed in the past two weeks, they should not set the ground for defeat. Victory does not always mean achieving a 100% goal; rather, reaching the minimum feasible is also considered a victory. What is important is solving the problems of the people and the country with an efficient and caring government in its fourteenth term.
