The head of Pezeshkian’s campaign says Ghalibaf is Pezeshkian’s most serious rival.
Ali Abdolalizadeh, the head of Pezeshkian’s election campaign for the fourth presidential election, stated that Mr. Ghalibaf is Mr. Pezeshkian’s most serious rival among the principlist candidates. He ranks first in polls among the five principlist candidates, and we are waiting to see who remains in the competition until the end of the election.
Abdolalizadeh assessed Pezeshkian’s status in the polls as positive and mentioned that among the total of six respected candidates, there are also familiar faces who usually have a better standing in the early days of polls due to public recognition. The difference in votes and interest in new individuals is initially low, but after campaigns and introducing the candidates, attention and interest in them increases.
He said that in the first days, the opinions and views towards Dr. Pezeshkian in the polls were less, but after the campaigns, we are witnessing a three percent daily increase in people’s inclination towards him, especially after meetings, panels, and group gatherings. Sometimes the spread of information from these meetings has pushed this figure up to 10 percent.
