The price of the dollar in Iran’s free market has reached 61,000 Tomans.

The price of each new design gold coin has reached 42 million Tomans, and each gram of 18-carat gold has reached 3 million and 461 thousand Tomans.

The main reason for this price increase is said to be the increase in demand during the summer season and the presidential elections.

Economic expert Barzou Hakshenas stated that if a candidate emphasizing the necessity of relations with the West wins the election, the dollar price will decrease.

The early presidential election is scheduled to be held on the eighth of Tir month.
