Ministry of Interior Arrested Terrorist Elements of the Medical Campaign Thousand Fields

The Ministry of Interior arrested terrorist elements from the campaign called ‘Thousand Fields’ of Pezeshkian.

Majid Mirahmadi, the Deputy Minister of Interior for Security and Law Enforcement and the head of the Security Committee of the Election Headquarters, says the Ministry of Intelligence arrested several terrorist elements sent into the country before the start of the elections.

According to Iranian media, Mr. Mirahmadi, without naming Masoud Pezeshkian, said that among their actions were calls for gatherings in 1,000 fields in the name of supporters of a candidate, which were held without their knowledge for a victory celebration and failed due to lack of public support.

Masoud Pezeshkian’s election campaign, on the last day of the campaign period and after the cancellation of his supporters’ rally at Heidarnia Stadium in Tehran, had asked fans to go to the main squares of Iranian cities on Wednesday, July 27, as part of a campaign called ‘Thousand Fields’ for promotion and face-to-face dialogue with the people. The campaign’s advertisements were published on the official channels and platforms of Masoud Pezeshkian’s election headquarters.

Hamideh Zarabadi, the spokesperson for Masoud Pezeshkian’s election headquarters, wrote on the X network in protest of the cancellation of the election meeting at Heidarnia Stadium, questioning under which law it was canceled, saying the governorate issues a permit, and the Ministry of Interior cancels it. This is an example of the ability to build consensus, or perhaps there is a thought of not letting you become president. In another post, she published the poster and information related to the ‘Thousand Fields’ campaign.

Activists from Mr. Pezeshkian’s election headquarters posted videos of supporters in Tehran, Mashhad, Rasht, and various parts of Iran on the streets, where in some of them slogans like ‘Ya Hossein Mir Hossein’ and ‘Long live Khatami’ were also chanted.
