Abbas Abdi: The arrest of Mohsen Borhani is seen by the audience as a confrontation with the people's electoral behavior

Abbas Abdi: The arrest of Mohsen Borhani from the audience’s perspective signifies opposition to the electoral behavior of the people.

Abbas Abdi: Mr. Dr. Borhani is a reputable and courageous lawyer and jurist, whose accusation is political and should be addressed in front of a jury, not behind closed doors. Mohsen Borhani is a great national asset.

I don’t know what the purpose of Mr. Borhani’s arrest after the elections was, but from the audience’s perspective, this act signifies opposition to the electoral behavior of the people, and this is not beneficial for the country.

Certainly, the conditions of political prisoners and women’s rights activists will improve under Dr. Pezeshkian’s government, and many of them may adopt a more balanced policy.

The contradictions of the ruling group are not limited to their media analysis; they are numerous. They had absolute satellite support against Pezeshkian, but ultimately, they were defeated by the presence of the people.
