I don’t know what the purpose of Mr. Borhani’s arrest after the elections was, but from the audience’s perspective, this act signifies opposition to the electoral behavior of the people, and this is not beneficial for the country.
Certainly, the conditions of political prisoners and women’s rights activists will improve under Dr. Pezeshkian’s government, and many of them may adopt a more balanced policy.
The contradictions of the ruling group are not limited to their media analysis; they are numerous. They had absolute satellite support against Pezeshkian, but ultimately, they were defeated by the presence of the people.
