Members of the Economic Commission of Parliament who are government officials should not be in the medical government

Members of the parliamentary Economic Commission believe that government officials should not be part of the medical sector.

Farid Mousavi, a member of the parliamentary Economic Commission, stated that the first encounter of society with the slogans of the president’s cabinet reflects their perception of the society’s situation. It also indicates the level of understanding of medical professionals about the issues and problems that the cabinet needs to address. Based on this, it seems necessary to focus on several points.

The first point is that for the first time, the reformist and development-oriented movement has garnered the majority of votes from the outskirts of cities and villages, which was a defining feature of the recent elections.

This parliamentary representative emphasized that considering these indicators together, such as the votes from the outskirts and villages, the lack of participation of at least half of the society in the elections, the slogans, and the support base that included medical professionals, it necessitates avoiding selecting repetitive individuals who have been part of the current situation in different terms when forming the cabinet. It is not possible to bring about change using the same individuals who were the architects and contributors to the current situation. Therefore, the cabinet should undergo a change in its composition.

Mousavi emphasized that this does not necessarily mean choosing young individuals, but rather the point is to avoid repetitive individuals so that society does not fall into despair and hopelessness again. Instead, they should be able to create hope and have the motivation to work. Furthermore, these individuals should believe in change, development, and international communication in the country.
