German Foreign Minister Travels to the Middle East Again

The German Foreign Minister is traveling to the Middle East again

The spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin announced that Annalena Baerbock, the Foreign Minister, will travel to the Middle East on the evening of Wednesday, September 4th (14th of Shahrivar).

Baerbock is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian territories in the West Bank.

According to the German Foreign Ministry spokesperson, the critical situation in the Middle East and reaching a ceasefire agreement in Gaza will be the main topics of Baerbock’s discussions during this trip.

This is the ninth visit of the German Foreign Minister to Israel and the eleventh trip to the Middle East since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th and the start of the war in Gaza.
