A member of the board of the Iranian Boxing Federation was killed by two women.
Iranian media reported the death of Isa Golmohammadi, a champion and former head coach of the Iranian national boxing team, on Tuesday night at his private garden in the outskirts of Robat Karim.
According to Mehr News Agency, Mr. Golmohammadi was killed due to stab wounds and several gunshots.
Mohammadreza Golmohammadi, the son of Isa Golmohammadi, confirmed the news in an interview with Tasnim News Agency, stating that his father was killed by 11 gunshots and five stab wounds, and various aspects of the murder are being investigated by the intelligence officers.
The police commander of Robat Karim, quoting the garden’s guard, announced that he was killed by two women and added that the two women, along with the victim who was a former athlete and coach of the national team, came to the private garden. During interrogation, the guard mentioned hearing gunshots and upon entering the garden, observed the two women shooting the victim with a firearm and taking the victim’s phone with them. The murderers fled after killing this boxer and coach.
