The British Foreign Secretary stated that on Sunday he had discussions with the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Israeli Foreign Minister about recent developments in the region.

David Lammy, the British Foreign Secretary, announced on Sunday evening that he had consulted by phone with his Iranian counterpart and the Israeli Foreign Minister.

He further stated that the outbreak of a regional war in the Middle East would be disastrous and beneficial to no one.
