A Civilian Killed in Israeli Attack on Iran

A civilian killed as a result of Israel’s attack on Iran

The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) has reported the death of a civilian due to Israel’s early morning attack on Iran on November 5th.

IRNA has mentioned the name of this citizen as Allahverdi Rahimpour and, without referring to the place of his death or other details, only stated that Mr. Rahimpour was not part of the Islamic Republic’s military personnel.

The Mizan news agency, affiliated with the judiciary, wrote that he lived in Nasimshahr near Tehran, and Fars, quoting the commander of the Basij in Baharestan County, announced that Allahverdi Rahimpour’s funeral will be held on Monday in the same city.

This comes while the Islamic Republic’s military had previously confirmed the death of four of its defense forces in Israel’s attack.

On Saturday morning, Israel targeted some military facilities in Iran in response to last month’s extensive missile attack by Iran on the country.
