Bloomberg reported that the U.S. Treasury Department is investigating the relationship between JPMorgan Bank and the Ocean Leonid investment fund, which operates under the supervision of Hossein Shamkhani, the son of Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to this report, the investigation is in its early stages, and the department is examining whether the New York-based bank complied with all laws and regulations when accepting Ocean Leonid as a client.
