Netanyahu Gave Trump a Pager as a Gift

Netanyahu gifted Trump a pager

On Thursday, February 7, the Israeli government’s press office released an image of a golden pager, stating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gifted it to U.S. President Donald Trump during their meeting.

On the screen of this golden pager, it is written: ‘Please press with both hands.’

The Israeli government’s press office added that the pager symbolizes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision that led to a change in the course of the war and weakened the morale of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The reference by the Israeli government’s press office is to the simultaneous explosion of thousands of pagers belonging to Hezbollah forces on September 18 of this year in Lebanon and parts of Syria, followed by the explosion of other communication equipment of this group a day later, which resulted in at least 42 deaths and thousands of injuries.
