The United States has imposed new sanctions related to Iran’s oil industry.
The United States announced the imposition of new sanctions against Iran, emphasizing that it has targeted more than 30 individuals and vessels associated with the oil industry.
In its statement, the U.S. Department of State claimed that the network linked to these individuals and vessels has attempted to conceal its role in transferring and selling Iranian oil to buyers in Asia. It emphasized that the new sanctions are an initial step within the framework of President Donald Trump’s new approach to implementing a maximum pressure policy against Iran.
