Trump: I will take legal action against media using anonymous sources

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has threatened to take legal action against writers, journalists, and media outlets that use anonymous sources.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, he even suggested that a new law should be created to punish critical writers.

His remarks came after the release of a new book by Michael Wolff, which makes claims about Mr. Trump. Among other things, the book alleges that Mr. Trump appears to be on the verge of a mental breakdown after surviving an assassination attempt last summer.

The book also quotes an anonymous source as saying that Melania, Mr. Trump’s wife, hates him.

Mr. Wolff’s first book about President Trump, titled ‘Fire and Fury,’ was one of the best-selling books of 2018.

In that book, he also relied on anonymous sources to portray a chaotic and tumultuous image of Donald Trump’s first year in office.
