Grossi: Iran is the only non-nuclear country enriching to this extent, and this is a serious concern for me.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Monday, March 13, during the IAEA Board of Governors’ quarterly meeting, expressed deep concern about the increase in Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile.

He said that since my previous report, Iran’s 60% enriched uranium stockpile has increased from 182 kilograms over the past three months to 275 kilograms. According to him, Iran is the only non-nuclear country that has achieved this level of enrichment.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has reported that Iran has enough 60% enriched uranium that it could quickly reach 90%, which is necessary for producing nuclear weapons, and if it wanted, it could make six nuclear weapons. This amount does not include Iran’s enriched uranium at 20% and lower levels.

According to the Jerusalem Post, based on assessments by some Israeli and American officials, Iran might be able to produce more nuclear weapons, especially if it decides to build smaller nuclear bombs.
