Saudi woman competes in Formula 1 Academy racing competition

This 21-year-old girl first gained fame by winning the Saudi women’s karting championship in 2022 and also participated in the Karting World Final.

Farah Al-Yousef, a Saudi female driver, is set to make her debut in the 2025 F1 Academy series as a wildcard driver in the second round of the competition, which will be held this weekend in Jeddah.

The Formula 1 Academy is a single-seater racing championship series specifically for women, launched by Formula 1, with its first season held in 2023.
