Benjamin Netanyahu: I am committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
The Israeli Prime Minister emphasized after the conclusion of the second round of nuclear talks between Iran and the U.S. that he remains committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and will not back down from this stance.
On Saturday night, Benjamin Netanyahu said in a video message, ‘I am committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. I will not give in, I will not let go, and I will not retreat even a millimeter.’
In recent days, first The New York Times and then some other news sources reported that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in his recent meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, opposed Israel’s plans to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities and stated that his current preference is to prioritize diplomatic negotiations with Tehran.
However, Reuters reported on Saturday morning, citing an Israeli official and two informed sources, that Israeli officials now believe the country can undertake a smaller, more limited attack that would require less support from the U.S.
